At Chilton Hall Community Church (CHCC) we follow Jesus, trust the Bible and share the hope of the gospel.
Everything we do flows from our love for God, for one another and for our community.
What We Believe
Following Jesus. Sharing Hope. Loving Our Community.
Jesus at the centre
We believe Jesus Christ is God's Son, the Saviour of the world. He lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins and rose again. He is Lord of all and at the centre of our lives and church.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is God's Word, true and trustworthy. It is our guide for life and faith, speaking with authority into everything we believe and do.
The gospel
We believe the gospel is the good news that God loves us and offers forgiveness and new life through Jesus. It is for everyone, and it changes everything.
The church
We believe the church is God's family on mission. We're called to worship together, grow in faith, serve others and share the good news in our community and beyond.
Our vision and mission
Our vision is to see more people in and around Chilton Hall, Chilton Leys and North West Stowmarket come to know Jesus and grow to love and follow Him.

Our mission is to bring Christ's hope and help to our community through worship, word, welcome and service.

What shapes us
Christ-centred
We put Jesus at the heart of everything - He is our Lord, our hope and our example.
Grace-filled
We receive God's grace with thankfulness and extend it
freely to others
Bible-based
We shape our beliefs and decisions by the truth of
God's Word
Welcoming
Everyone is welcome here. We value belonging, diversity and hospitality.
Prayerful
We believe in the power of prayer and depend on God in everything we do.
Caring
We love and support one another and seek the good of our neighbours.
Spirit-led
We seek to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in our lives and as a church.
Local mission
We're called to love our community and share the hope of Jesus locally.

Take the next step
Faith is often explored through honest conversation, patient listening and taking one step at a time.

If you would like to talk about Christianity, Jesus, prayer, church, or some of the big questions of life, we would be very happy to hear from you. No pressure, no assumptions — just a chance to talk things through.
